About Roberta Tanenbaum

Roberta Tanenbaum has been an Occupational Therapist for over 20 years. After an initial five years on the Spinal Cord Rehabilitation unit at Magee Rehabilitation Hospital, she devoted the next fifteen years to working with children, with an emphasis on children on the Spectrum (Autism & PDD/NOS) and children having Sensory Processing Disorder.

Roberta has an extensive array of experience and training. In addition to her work with sensory motor skills, social skills, and Handwriting Without Tears -- she is now also certified in Interactive Metronome and Solisten. She is most excited about the benefits she sees in her clients through her work towards the DIR Floor Time certificate program, in which she attends the DIR Summer Institutes and receives individual mentorship from a Certified DIR clinician.

In addition, Roberta is part of a multidisciplinary approach, www.betterspeech.com, which works with many specialty professionals.

Occupational Therapy
